· Coming from North on the A1 ( Milano, Bologna )
Take the FIRENZE SUD exit.
As you leave the toll station, take a right turn, following
the signs to Greve and Siena on SR 222. About 22 km from the
toll station, you'll drive through Greve. Continue up the hill
on SR 222 another 8 km and you'll arrive in Panzano with its
little piazza on the right.
· Coming from South on the A1 ( Roma )
You have these two possibilities:
1· You can take the VAL DI CHIANA-SINALUNGA exit.
Follow the superstrada (SS 326) to Siena where you'll find SR
222 heading north to Castellina and Panzano.
2· You can take the INCISA exit.
After the toll station, turn left, following the signs to Figline and Arezzo.
After about 5 km from the toll station, just past a Shell gas
station, take a right turn, following the signs to Greve and
Siena on SP 16.
At about 24 km from the toll station, you'll arrive at a stoplight
in Greve; turn left at the light and continue up the hill on
SR 222 another 6 km and you'll arrive in Panzano with its little
piazza on the right.
· Once you arrive at Panzano...
The first thing you will see from the SR 222 is the little Piazza
Bucciarelli, with its trees and fountain.
Turn right if you’re coming from Greve and Firenze (left
if you’re coming from Castellina and Siena), following
the sign to centro storico, and drive 0.2 km to where
the road forks; take the right fork up the hill to the church.
In front of the church, turn left.
The entrance to the Castle of Panzano (and our cooking studio)
is on your right, 20 meters past the church steps. Looking up,
you’ll see the gate in a corner. Since parking is not
allowed in the castle, drive past the castle entrance and you’ll
find parking along the road as it begins to go down the hill.
