Our Cooking Studio in Tuscany
is located in Panzano, a lovely hill town in the
heart of Chianti, surrounded by vineyards and olive
groves. The area is noted for its beauty and history, as well as
for its good wine and good food. Housed in the medieval castle that
first established Panzano, the studio has a balcony and unsurpassed
view of the countryside and sunsets that give Conca d’Oro
(the Golden Valley) its name.
One of Stefania’s underlying convictions is that the food
reveals a lot about the land from whence it comes,
and vice versa. You cannot really understand one without the other.
That is why she likes to start her classes with a visit to local
food markets and butchers, private green gardens and artisan shops;
followed by a hands-on cooking lesson that guides you through the
preparation of an entire meal from antipasto to dolce,
and ends around an elegantly decorated table, enjoying the lovely
meal you’ve just created.
Personal attention, spontaneity
and improvisation are important ingredients in
Stefania’s kitchen, because to her these are the basic elements
of the pleasure of cooking together. Therefore we keep the classes
small. Menus will be inspired by the season, the markets and what
you’d like to prepare.
One day courses are available, as well as two-and
three-day courses, tailored to your wishes.
